Read this first. Healthcare is the direction Epheia is being built toward, not a product you can buy today. The production posture supports HIPAA-compliant deployment, and the beta is not a clinical tool. Nothing on this page should be read as a shipping healthcare offering.
Patients withhold exactly the information clinicians most need. Not out of carelessness, but because disclosure has consequences they can predict and a benefit they cannot. Concealment is worst where the stakes are highest: substance use, suicidal ideation, adherence, abuse, sexual health, anything with a social cost attached to saying it out loud.
The usual answer is to promise confidentiality. That promise is often kept, and it is still not evidence. A patient deciding whether to be honest has no way to check what happens to what they type, and no way to know it will not follow them.
Applying verified erasure to pre-visit intake changes what is being offered. Instead of asking someone to trust a policy, it hands them proof: this conversation ran inside sealed hardware, and here is a receipt showing the data was not kept. Someone can be honest before they ever sit down.

When auditors ask how you know data was not retained, you do not hand them a policy document and hope they trust it. You hand them a cryptographic proof they can verify themselves, session by session, on demand.
For clinicians
An intake that patients trust enough to be honest with is a better clinical instrument than one they edit themselves out of. The proof is the point: it is what makes candour rational rather than risky.
Running it inside your own cloud
Larger organizations can run the Epheia Appliance inside their own cloud account and issue the same receipts, verifiable by the same free public tools. The proof does not depend on Epheia being in the path, which is the property that makes it auditable at all.
